Due to the similarity in names of the Russell Terrier Clubs in the US, the American Russell Terrier Club is making every effort to eliminate confusion surrounding our breed. The Illustrated Guide to the Russell Terrier presented by the American Russell Terrier Club is the only AKC Parent Club approved educational material for the AKC FSS Russell Terrier. Please note any educational material distributed by the American Russell Terrier Foundation Club or representatives of the American Russell Terrier Foundation Club is not Parent Club approved nor have they been authorized by our club to distribute American Russell Terrier Club educational material. The American Russell Terrier Foundation Club is not an affiliate Club of the American Russell Terrier Club. The similarities in the names of the two clubs may be confusing. However, the AKC designated Parent Club has no "Foundation" in their name. We hope this brings clarity to the confusion.
